CULINARY CONCEPTS
Updated 646 days ago
Just before my 16th birthday, I told my dad I wanted a car. He said, "That's nice, go get a job." So I did: washing dishes at a French restaurant in Reisterstown, MD. I saw right away that cooking looked a lot more interesting than washing dishes. Soon enough, I was working my way up the hierarchy of the kitchen until I got my first executive chef position when I was 23 years old...
I have been in the food service industry for over 40 years. My experience includes opening two Italian Restaurants in Baltimore and being the executive chef at a private golf club and large catering company in Maryland. I taught culinary arts for 33 years in high schools and colleges, including Johnson & Wales University in Denver. I recently retired and am excited to be back in Colorado to share my passion for food with my clients.
