The mission of Cardinal McCloskey Community Services (CMCS) is to protect, empower, and promote independence for at-risk children and families and those with developmental disabilities through quality community based services... Founded in 1946, CMCS has grown into a multi-service 501(c)(3) agency, providing nonsectarian support in child welfare, early childhood education, and adult disability services through programs primarily located in the Bronx, as well as in the other four boroughs of NYC, and Westchester and Rockland Counties.
