The Coalition is a non-profit organization with a mission to empower children to grow in wisdom, stature and favor with God and man by providing a nurturing environment where they can achieve academic, physical, spiritual and social growth, guided by Luke 2:52... Founded in 1998 by Mitch Cox and Lawrence Porterfield, Coalition For Kids (C4K) purchased land and chartered the organization. The following year, C4K began with Fairmont Elementary at their main facility in East Johnson City, offering after-school and evening activities...
