Eric Budiman D.

Dr. Budiman is a Los Angeles native who grew up in the city of Walnut. He received his certification in Orthodontics and his master's degree from the University of Southern California where he studied under Dr. Dougherty's instruction. Upon graduating, he was awarded the 2015 Harry L. Dougherty Award for Clinical Excellence, which is an award given to the resident who demonstrated the highest achievement in clinical orthodontics during the residency program. After graduation, Dr. Budiman moved to Seattle, Washington and became a clinical instructor at the University of Washington, teaching early and interceptive orthodontic treatment. Two years later, he moved back to Los Angeles to work in private practice and teach at USC's orthodontic program. He currently teaches 3D scanning, virtual orthodontic model setups, and 3D printing. Dr. Budiman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, and is the treasurer of the USC Orthodontic Alumni Association.

Harry L Dougherty Jr

Dr. Dougherty is originally from the San Fernando Valley, and feels a great connection with the Sherman Oaks community where he has lived and worked for over 30 years. He looks forward to working with each of his patients, and relishes helping them create one-of-a-kind treatment experiences. Dr. Dougherty received his degree and certification in Orthodontics from the University of Southern California. He began his career in Orthodontics in Santa Monica, and wanting to be more involved in his community, moved his practice to Sherman Oaks. In addition to excellence in clinical practice in his office, Dr. Dougherty is involved in many facets of Orthodontics. He currently teaches courses in diagnosis and treatment planning, computer assisted facial analysis, as well as being a faculty advisor at the bi-monthly USC Orthognathic surgical conferences. He has taught at Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC for over 10 years and recently received an award for excellence in teaching. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and the current president of the Edward H. Angle Society, Southern California Component. His research interests involve computer diagnosis and CAD-CAM orthodontic appliance design. Dr. Dougherty recently has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics(AJO-DO). He lives in Sherman Oaks with his wife Pam and his son Ryan, who recently graduated from the University of Oregon. Dr. Dougherty works diligently outside of his own practice with some of the best organizations in the dental community. These organizations contribute treatment to people in developing countries and educate doctors all over the world on new treatment methods and advancements in the field.
