Dr. Aliyyah Noel

Dr. Noel provides companion animal and production animal care in Lewiston. She grew up in Faribault, Minnesota, and rode horses and helped on the farms of various family friends growing up. Dr. Noel became interested in production medicine early on during her time in veterinary school. Dr. Noel graduated in May 2022 from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. When not working, Dr. Noel enjoys spending time with friends and family, camping, and hanging out with her horse. She thoroughly enjoys experimenting with new sewing projects and recently began to embroider as well.

Dr. Brett Flathers

Dr. Flathers has been with the Lewiston Veterinary Clinic since graduation from veterinary school in 1989. Dr. Flathers has a strong interest in companion animal medicine and surgery. He also enjoys orthopedics and has completed several continuing education meetings on the topic. Brett enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife, Laura, and children, Kaitlyn and Ryan. They have 3 poodles named Percy, Roo, and Charlie, along with three cats; Sassy, Scruffy, and Scamps.

Dr. Ethan Scharmer

Dr. Scharmer grew up on a small hobby farm just outside of Winona, MN with sheep, pigs, and dogs. He was an active member of the local 4-H club where he became interested in veterinary medicine. Ethan graduated from UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2023. Outside of work Ethan enjoys swimming, hunting, woodworking, recreational sports, and countless trips to the park with his wife Becca, and 18-month-old daughter Wren.

Dr. Karen Lorch

Dr. Lorch joined Lewiston Veterinary Clinic in 2005. She enjoys small animal medicine, building relationships with clients, large animal preventive medicine, and small ruminant practice. Currently she enjoys working with her family on their hobby farm where they raise Boer and Nubian goats, rabbits, beef cattle, and chickens. She also has an excited German Shepherd named Herbie. Karen and her husband have 3 young children who enjoy caring for their animals also.

Dr. Sara Hoge

Dr. Hoge will be providing companion animal care in our Eyota location as well as production animal care in Lewiston. Sara grew up in Aitkin, located in central Minnesota, on a 50 head cow/calf beef farm where she became interested in veterinary medicine. Sara graduated in May 2017 from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. When not working, Sara enjoys being active outdoors including: camping, hiking, running, recreational sports and hunting. She also loves hanging out with her family.
