Our school is also organised into whānau groups. Each whānau consists of a mix of classes from each of these teams which allows for tuakana/teina relationships to develop and be part of the teaching and learning programmes. Whānau groups are called Kōwhai, Kikorangi, Whero and Kākāriki... Glen Eden Primary School, established in 1915, is a Year 1-6 primary school situated in Waitākere City. Our values of kairangi, ako, manaakitanga and whanaungatanga underpin all that we do in our kura... Glen Eden Primary is a part of the Kerehana Kahui Ako. We work alongside Glendene Primary, Kelston Primary, St Leonards Primary, Kelston Intermediate, Kelston Girls College and Kelston Boys High School to develop strong learning programmes and pathways for our tamariki.
