Alan earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M and a master's degree from UW Madison. Prior to joining H3D in 2021, Alan spent significant time working on high speed electropneumatic shifting systems and a 200mph cruise control. He loves watching machines come to life through a team effort. At H3D, Alan works on robotics.
Alec earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. Before joining H3D in 2019, he worked in mechanical design and development in the automotive industry. At H3D, Alec does mechanical design.

Ashley Griffith earned her undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan University. She has over 5 years of professional experience working in insurance sales and customer service. At H3D, Ashley directs customer inquiries and coordinates the sales process, ensuring smooth interactions with our customers.
David Nestle is a certified health physicist, earning undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Michigan. He has over 25 years of experience in the nuclear power industry, most recently as the Radiation Protection Manager at Palisades Nuclear Power Plant in Covert, MI.
Jerimy earned his undergraduate degree and PhD from Oklahoma State University and is board certified in Therapeutic Medical Physics by the American Board of Radiology. He works in the development of H3D imaging technologies for medical applications.

Dave earned his undergraduate degree from Michigan Technological University and his master's degree from Wayne State University. Prior to joining the team in 2016, he worked at a small medical-device company, specializing in implantable device modification. At H3D, Dave does mechanical design.
DD joined H3D in 2021. He has earned degrees in Information Assurance and Network Security and Applied Science. Prior to joining H3D, DD worked for Rivian Automotive LLC, and has over 10 years of professional experience working in IT support. At H3D, he works on IT support, IT maintenance, and IT compliance.
Doug joined H3D full time in 2022. Before H3D, he specialized in metrology and calibrations, working in the automotive industry. Doug has traveled as a commissioning engineer as well as done automotive validation testing. At H3D, Doug supports commercial production and manufacturing.

Bill earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana and his PhD from the University of California at San Diego. He has served as Acting Director of the Domestic Nuclear Detection Office -- a presidentally appointed position within the US Department of Homeland Security -- and he also has 30 years of experience in senior technical and business management at SAIC. Bill advises H3D on business and technical matters.

Brian earned his undergraduate degree and his PhD from the University of Michigan. He has worked on radiation transport and quantum interaction of radiation in materials since 2008. At H3D, Brian has developed optical and radiation image tools for calibration and mapping. In addition, he manages various programs for new technology development and radiation safety.

Chris earned his undergraduate degree from SUNY Geneseo and his PhD from the University of Michigan. He has worked on imaging and detection algorithms since 2006. At H3D, Chris focuses on post-processing software, algorithm development, user experience, and operations.

Don earned his undergraduate degree and his PhD from the University of Michigan. He has held technical and management positions at Los Alamos National Laboratory and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and has served as president and chief operating officer of Veeco Instruments Inc. He is currently president and chief executive officer of FEI Company. Don advises H3D on business and technical matters.
Feng earned his undergraduate degree from Tsinghua University and his PhD from the University of Michigan. He works on the data acquisition hardware and software for H3D detectors, with a proven record of achieving the best energy resolution in large volume CdZnTe detectors at room temperature.
Hao earned his undergraduate degree from Tsinghua University and his PhD from the University of Michigan. He has worked on pixelated CZT since 2008, with a focus on detector readout. He has a plethora of experience in system design, industry radiation detection and imaging, as well as medical imaging. At H3D, Hao handles sales and support in China.
Jason earned his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and his PhD from the University of Michigan. He has worked on H3D technology since 2008, with a focus on software design. At H3D, Jason works on coded-aperture image formation and user-interface development.

Matthew earned his undergraduate degree from SUNY Binghamton and his MS and PhD from the University of Michigan. He has worked on CZT radiation detectors since 2011. His doctoral work covered event reconstruction in CZT, ASIC design, imaging techniques, and perovskite radiation detectors. At H3D, he works on detector development.
Michael earned his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and his PhD from the University of Michigan. His doctoral work focused on digital readout of CZT detectors for national-security applications. At H3D, Michael works on detector testing, readout, and processing.
Sara earned her undergraduate degree, master's, and PhD from the University of Michigan. Her doctoral work focused on studying CZT detectors in extreme environments. At H3D, she works on detector testing and development.
Yuefeng earned his undergraduate and master's degree from Tsinghua University and his PhD from the University of Michigan. He works full time at the University of Michigan as an assistant research scientist focusing on next-generation detector readout. Yuefeng provides part-time support to H3D on tablet and computer software environments.

Wieyi earned his undergraduate degree from Peking University and his PhD from the University of Michigan. He has worked on Compton imaging using CZT since 2005. Weiyi's work at H3D focuses on radiation image formation and customer relations.

Andy earned his undergraduate degree and his PhD from the University of Michigan. He has been working on CZT technology since 2008. Andy currently runs the Sales and Marketing Teams that oversee all of our customer interactions and plays a crucial part in our product development process.

Jim earned his undergraduate degree from Michigan Technological University. Prior to joining H3D in 2019, he had 19 years of professional experience, including in design for manufacture, prototype fabrication, and military ground-vehicle design, development, and integration. At H3D, Jim works in mechanical design.
Karl received his degree from Washtenaw Community College. He currently works on product design, machine construction and design, production flow, and fixture/tooling design. He also assists in quality-control testing, assembly, and calibration. Prior to joining H3D in 2018, Karl worked in the coffee roasting and craft beer industries.
Rachel earned her undergraduate degree from Purdue University. After joining H3D in 2018, she specialized in procurement and organization. Rachel currently provides task support in other areas, primarily contract administration.
Meredith earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. Before joining H3D in 2019, she worked in the defense industry on new radiation-detector technologies. At H3D, Meredith specializes in customer support and training.
Zhong earned his undergraduate degree from Tsinghua University and his PhD from Southampton University. He is currently a professor in the Department of Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences at the University of Michigan. Prof. He invented the 3D-readout technique for semiconductor detectors which forms the foundation of all H3D technology.
Willy earned his undergraduate degree from Oregon State University and his PhD from the University of Michigan. He is an expert in CZT calibration and performance. At H3D, Willy focuses on contract management, product design, and user-interface development.

Ryan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. Before joining H3D in 2022, he worked with controls and digital signal processing in a manufacturing setting. At H3D, Ryan works on detector testing, calibration, and board design.
Travis earned his associate degree from Washtenaw Community College. Prior to joining H3D in 2022, he was employed at his local bowling alley. At H3D, Travis performs assembly, testing, and service for the OEM product line.
Thurston earned his undergraduate degree from Kettering University. He has worked on a variety of programming efforts, initially in the auto industry and later on web-based platforms. Thurston joined H3D in 2015 and works on our software, with an emphasis on improving user experience and implementing best practices for reliability.
TJ joined H3D full time in 2015 and primarily works on system testing and assembly. He also aids the technical team with experimental setup.
Tom joined H3D full time in 2022. At H3D, Tom supports commercial production and manufacturing. He also helps our service department by keeping calibrations up to date and addressing maintenance concerns for our systems.
Therman joined H3D as a full-time employee in 2020. Therman supports commercial production and manufacturing at H3D while also providing building and maintenance support. He has previously worked with Recycle Ann Arbor, Ford Motor Co, and Ann Arbor Public Schools.
Vic earned his undegraduate degree from the University of Michigan. Before joining H3D in 2022, he had over 30 years of manufacturing experience ranging from prototype-tool making, advanced manufacturing process development, and custom design and fabrication. At H3D, Vic works on product design.
