The role of the Har Sinai Temple's Religious Practices Committee is to evaluate our rituals, observances, and Shabbat and holiday services - and find ways to elevate and improve the experience for all. Committee members meet several times a year and work directly with Rabbi Goldson and Cantor Green to embrace traditional and modern Jewish practice that is meaningful to our members - and we have fun planning new, innovative services for our congregation.
Last year, during the pandemic, members of the Religious Practices Committee spearheaded an effort to deliver High Holiday giftbags to every member of the congregation. The bags brought treats and smiles to our congregants, many of whom were feeling very isolated at the height of COVID-19 restrictions. This is just one of the many ways this Committee comes together to ensure we stay together as a community.
This Committee provides a hands-on, creative opportunity to work with our Clergy and make meaningful impact. We welcome new members and embrace new ideas that enable us to grow together as a spiritual family.
