Established in 1994, International Children's Awareness (ICA) is a Canadian registered Non-Governmental Organization focusing their efforts on working with communities in participatory ways to ensure sustainable development solutions within the realm of education, health, water and sanitation and income generation... At ICA all our projects are designed with the ultimate goal of local sustainability. Our projects aim to rely on local solutions, ingenuity and participation to ensure long term viability... At ICA we believe in the importance of working with our communities to meet the specified needs of local populations. We see the importance of building relationships and facilitating dialogue to enable local communities to be apart of the development that directly affects them.
