IDAHO ENERGY COLLABORATIVE

The Idaho Energy Collaborative is an action-oriented group striving to create positive policy changes in Idaho related to energy. We promote energy efficiency and conservation and renewable energy development. Business people, nonprofit organizations, and knowledgeable citizens convene on a regular basis to exchange ideas, track current energy issues, and hear presentations from key stakeholders in energy related fields... The natural beauty of Idaho, its clean water, and its unique way of life are a legacy we need to protect for our children. We have become dependent on out of date energy sources like coal-fired power, which has led to changes in our climate and environment. With the ability and ingenuity to meet our energy needs with faster, cleaner, safer, and cheaper energy solutions as well as conserving and practicing energy efficiency, Idaho can replace old forms of energy with clean and renewable sources like wind and solar to meet the demands for our state's future.
