Like the fine jewels he creates, Alessandro Barellini is multifaceted; hidden intricacies differentiate both the man and his work. Often, his creations transcend fine jewelry. Born, raised and educated in Florence, Italy he was captivated early on by the abundant history, culture and tradition around him. In 1999, brimming with original ideas and determined to develop his own collections and provide personal service, he designed and opened his atelier, Idrus, in his native Florence.
