Smoking and the lungs Year 7 have finished their cardiovascular unit with a poster competition about the effects of smoking on cardiovascular health. We focused on the changing structure of alveoli and the effect that carbon monoxide has on red blood cells through the binding of haemoglobin. The students graded each others work on 4 criteria: information, graphics, organization and style. Students also learned to evaluate work and appreciate the effort and creativity of their peers. #jfk #jfksaanen #gstaad... John F.
