Alan Cornett

Dr. Cornett joined OSI in 2012 after working in private practice in Midwest City, Okla. He is a graduate of the orthopedic surgery residency program through St. Mary's Medical Center/Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, and worked with the surgeons at OSI.

Angela Walker

Job Titles:

Dr. Walker is the only female fellowship-trained foot and ankle specialist in the Northland, and one of only a handful in the entire city. During her fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Torrance, Calif., she learned to perform a number of surgeries designed to help patients return to their normal level of activity faster. Some of those include flat foot reconstructions, arthroscopic ankle and subtalar fusions, ankle replacements, Achilles tendon repair and reconstruction, ankle and foot fracture fixation, bunion correction, and treatment of various midfoot and forefoot disorders. Dr. Walker is a member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society, the American Osteopathic Association of Orthopedics, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons.

Ashley Shuck

Ashley Shuck came to Orthopedic Surgeons Inc. in 2019, following graduation from the University of Dubuque, Dubuque, Iowa, with a master of science in physician assistant studies. The focus of her thesis was on surgical treatment of slipped capital femoral epiphysis, which has been accepted for publication in the JBJS Journal of Orthopedics for Physician Assistants. She also earned a bachelor of science degree in ACS biochemistry from Winona State University, Winona Minn.

Charles Orth

Dr. Orth has worked for OSI for 30 years since his graduation in 1993 from his Orthopedic residency. He attended Avila University, then Kansas City University where he graduated as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. His rotating internship was completed in Oklahoma at Tulsa Regional Medical Center. He then came back to Kansas City where he performed his Orthopedic Residency at Parklane Hospital.

Charley Atkison

Physician Assistant for OSI, Charley Atkison has his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. He earned both his undergraduate degree in chemistry and his master's degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City. He is currently taking multiple continuing education courses and classes on the latest orthopedic techniques and advances.

David Dugan

Dr. Dugan joined OSI after graduating from the orthopedic surgery residency program through St. Mary's Medical Center/Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, and working with the surgeons at OSI. He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and his bachelor of science degree from Northwest Missouri State University.

Dr Terry Presley

Dr. Presley is a fellowship trained hip and knee replacement specialist who values patient centered care built on open communication and trust. He completed his fellowship at the University of Louisville where he focused his training on advanced hip and knee replacement techniques including complex revisions, robotics, minimally invasive surgery and muscle sparing approaches. With extensive training in advanced technology such as robotic assisted hip and knee replacements, Dr. Presley is skilled at delivering replacements that match each patient's individual anatomy.

Dr. David Paul

Dr. David Paul became interested in health care through his father, who was a dentist. As a medical student, he became interested in orthopedics after shadowing his older brother many times, Dr. Robert Paul. He performed his residency with OSI, then joined the practice following its completion. He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He received his bachelor's degree in science from Avila University, Kansas City, Mo.

Dr. Molly Black

Dr. Molly Black joined OSI in 2022 as an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon. She attended the University of Kansas and Wichita State University for her undergraduate degree. She graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 2001 and graduated in 2006 from the Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita Campus. She completed her Trauma Fellowship at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina in 2007.

Dr. Robert Paul

Dr. Robert Paul is a long-standing member of the OSI group. He performed his residency with OSI, then joined the practice after its completion. He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Mo.

Erin Dickey

Erin Dickey NP-C came to Orthopedic Surgeons Inc. in 2021. She has over 11 years experience as a nurse practitioner, with 2 years being specific to orthopedic surgery. Erin completed her undergraduate degree from Rockhurst University, in Kansas City, Missouri and then went on to complete her Family Nurse Practitioner from Research College of Nursing in Kansas City, MO. Erin has a strong background in Emergency Medicine. Erin, her husband and two children live in a small rural town where they spend a lot of their free time working on their cattle farm and being outdoors. She also enjoys spending time with family, going to the lake, traveling, entertaining, and coaching youth sports. Erin is certified as a nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner. She has experience in caring for a wide range of patients and injuries. Aside from assisting in surgery she is also certified to assess, diagnose, treat and evaluate all ages of patients.

Gregory Barnhill

Dr. Barnhill has been with OSI since 1984. He graduated from medical school at the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency with the University of Health Sciences, Kansas City and internship with Normandy Osteopathic Hospital in St. Louis. His undergraduate work was completed at the University of Missouri at Columbia.

James Kesl

Dr. Kesl joined OSI following completion of his fellowship. He performed his residency in orthopedic surgery with OSI at St. Mary's Medical Center, Blue Springs, Mo.

Michael Boin

Dr. Boin is one of the few fellowship-trained shoulder and elbow specialists in the Kansas City area. He completed his fellowship at the prestigious NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases where he was trained in the most innovative surgical techniques by world-renowned surgeons. He treats all conditions of the shoulder and elbow and has a special interest in sports medicine and treating athletes. During his time in Dayton, he was a team physician for Division 1 athletes of Wright State University. He has published numerous articles in medical journals and was won multiple awards for his research.

Michael Justice

Dr. Justice returned to join OSI in 2013 after finishing a year-long fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at the prestigious American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Ala., under the direction of renowned orthopedic surgeon Lawrence Lemak, M.D. Prior to this, he completed a five-year orthopedic surgery residency through St. Mary's Medical Center/Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and worked with the surgeons at OSI.
