Aaron joined Konen Insurance in August of 2014. He brings 14 years of insurance industry experience. Most recently, Aaron worked for ConnectedHealth, a Chicago firm that sets up benefits marketplaces for large employers. Aaron has also held positions at Unicare and EBRM, the largest General Agency for Blue Cross/Blue Shield Illinois, as an individual and small group underwriter. His experience and knowledge helps find the right product for each of his clients.
Aaron earned his Associates Degree from Waubonsee Community College. His interests include basketball and chess. He and his wife live in Aurora with their 2 sons and daughter.
Ann joined the Agency in 2014. After many years of raising children and volunteering on various committees, she is bringing over 12 years of marketing experience to Konen Insurance. In previous jobs, Ann was responsible for business to business and consumer marketing for technology and fitness companies. She is responsible for all direct marketing, advertising and community outreach for Konen Insurance.
Ann graduated from the University of Dayton with a BS in Marketing and International Business.
Blanca has been with Konen Insurance since August, 2014. She has extensive experience in the insurance industry in both personal and commercial lines. Blanca worked for Pinnacle Insurance for over 8 years and most recently was with Lenert Insurance Group.
Blanca understands the needs of her clients and gains their trust by outlining the best coverages available. Blanca lives in Aurora with her husband, toddler son and Labrador retriever.

Brian graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder in 1988 and began his insurance career as an Account Executive with the Konen Agency in 1993. Brian has always valued continuing education and currently holds the designations of Certified Insurance Counsellor, Certified Workers Compensation Advisor and Construction Risk Insurance Specialist.
Brian is a Past President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Illinois (IIA of Illinois) and has been presented with numerous awards for his excellence in the insurance industry, such as the Young Agent of the Year (IIA of Illinois) and Insurance Agent of the Year (Illinois 1752 Club). He is currently a Trustee at Aurora University and Marmion Academy, is the Immediate Past Chair at the Aurora Chamber of Commerce and is a Board Member at Plum Landing.
Brian is the 3rd generation of Konen in the Aurora area and resides in Sugar Grove with his wife, Ann and their three sons Nathan, Charlie and Regan. They also chase around two Wheaton Terriers; Riley and Maggie. When Brian isn't talking insurance and risk management, he enjoys golfing, skiing, traveling with his family, and long-distance running. He's usually trying to run off all the chocolate Oberweis ice cream he also enjoys.

Jamie joined the Konen Agency in January 2019 after completing a summer internship with the agency. She is a licensed agent in Property and Casualty and is responsible for servicing personal lines clients and assisting with marketing campaigns. Jamie earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Aurora University and currently resides in Aurora.
Jamie enjoys coffee, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.

Jennifer joined the Konen Agency in November of 2019. Jennifer's many years of customer service and office experience will serve her well assisting the Konen Team.

While attending college at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Jerry was employed as a Securities Trader for the firm of Blunt Ellis & Loewi. Upon graduation he joined the Agency through the Aetna Prime Agent Program. In 1994 he assumed the responsibility as president. Jerry is responsible for marketing, distribution, and servicing of Commercial Insurance and Employee Benefit Programs.
Jerry resides in Aurora with his wife Zoe and his children; Tegan, Nicholas, Patrick and Emma.

Justin joined the Konen Agency in August 2020. He has a bachelor's degree in business from Illinois State University. Justin is a licensed agent in Property and Casualty along with Life and Health. Prior to joining the agency Justin had previously worked in the insurance industry for 19 years in the professional lines arena for both Wholesale Insurance Brokers and Independent Insurance Agencies. He is responsible for servicing the agency's commercial clients.
Justin lives in Winfield with his 2 daughters.
Kathleen joined the Agency in November 2006. She has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Millikin University. Prior to joining the Agency, Kathleen worked for over six years in the insurance industry, two of those years as commercial underwriter with Farmer's Insurance Group. She is responsible for servicing our commercial accounts. She is a life long resident of the Aurora area.
Kathleen lives in Aurora with her husband Jim and their three sons, James IV, Spencer, and Matthew.

Kathleen joined Konen Insurance in September 2022. She has experience with customer accounts/service and she loves getting to know new people!
Kathleen graduated from Waubonsee Community College with a degree in Business Administration. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family and friends, as well as her dog, Daisy.
Kelly joined Konen Insurance in January 2017. She is a licensed agent in Property and Casualty and is responsible for servicing accounts in the commercial lines department. Kelly has a bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University and in her free time enjoys spending time with her family.

Melanie joined the agency in October 2012. She has a bachelor's degree in business from Aurora University. Melanie is a licensed agent in Property and Casualty along with Life and Health. Prior to joining the agency Melanie had previously worked in the insurance industry for 7 years in both personal and commercial lines. She is responsible for servicing the agency's commercial accounts.
Melanie lives in Oswego with her husband Ivan.

Miya started with the Konen Agency in March of 2022. She is a licensed agent in Property and Casualty. Miya earned her bachelor's degree in Music Composition and Audio Production from Columbia College Chicago, and earned a certificate of completion for the University of Wisconsin Madison in Data Science and Analytics.
Miya resides in Saint Charles with her cat, Bachelor. She enjoys her free time reading, learning new things, and being with her family and friends.

Nick is an advisor who works with businesses to help them find peace of mind and protect their future. Like the agency motto: "The Difference is Service" Nick believes in providing personalized attention to embody the agency philosophy. Prior to joining the agency, Nick worked at Cincinnati Insurance as a commercial underwriter. Nick has earned the designation of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), as well as his Associates in General Insurance (AINS). Nick graduated from The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Economics and a minor in Communications.
Nick lives in Aurora with his wife, Maureen. He enjoys snowboarding, working out and 3D printing.

Peter is an Operations Manager who started with Konen Insurance in February of 2022. Prior to joining the agency Peter previously worked in the Technology / Home Security and Home Service industries for 13 years across the United States. Peter attended University of Maryland Asia Pacific Division in South Korea and University of Maryland European Division in Germany. He is responsible for managing operations at the agency.
Peter lives in Aurora with his wife, Yajing and their cat, Shadow. He enjoys traveling with his wife, tennis, writing, and creating videos in his down time.
Sandy joined the Agency in October of 2007 as a Senior Customer Service Representative. She has over 25 years experience in the insurance industry both in personal and commercial lines. She is responsible for servicing the agency's commercial lines customers.
Sandy lives in Oswego; has one son and two grandchildren.

Tammy joined the Konen Insurance team in June 2014. She has over 20 years of insurance experience including personal, health and commercial and life experience. Prior to working at Konen Insurance, Tammy worked at Arthur J Gallagher/Premier Risk Services.
Tammy's enthusiasm about her job helps her to connect with her clients and provide excellent customer care. She takes the time to learn about her clients and make sure she is meeting all of their questions and needs.

Terry joined the Agency in June of 1979. After completing a comprehensive sales course in Hartford, Connecticut, he was licensed in property, casualty, life, and health insurance. Terry's responsibilities include sales and customer service for personal and commercial clients.
Terry lives in Aurora with his wife Marilu and two daughters: Kristin & Katie. Terry is an avid golfer and bowler.
Vince Konen started the Agency selling home and auto insurance from his downtown Aurora, IL office. Today, Brian Konen and Jerry Knudston are second generation owner and a third generation has now joined our team. Over the years, we have grown into a full-service Agency providing all lines of insurance coverage, with some of our specialties including, Personal Insurance, Business Insurance, Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Employee Benefits and financial planning services.
