Bennah Empowering through Strategic Training (BEST), Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working to empower the less fortunate in rural Liberia through education and vocational training. BEST, Inc. was founded in 2009 through the vision of its Chairman, Mr. Handerson W. Bennah, Sr. driven by his passion for human capacity building. In 1990 at the height of Liberia's civil war, Mr. Bennah's parents were forced out of their home in Kingsville at gun point by advancing rebel forces, who later occupied the house. Before leaving they damaged the house and plundered almost all of its contents. In 2003 marginal work was done to the building and converted into an elementary school, leaving much work to be done at future dates as funds are made available. The school is named after Mr. Bennah's father who died in the United States in March 2004... Since its inception in BEST, Inc. has assembled a hardworking and dynamic Board of Directors and has identified strategic empowerment..
