The Watermill Inn & Windermere Brewing Co. is situated in the quiet village of Ings, just 2 miles East of Windermere in the Lake District... Positioned on a peaceful country lane, just off the A591, and only 15 minutes from the M6, we are perfectly located for touring the Lake District by car, bicycle, public transport or on foot. We are surrounded by pleasant walks, cycle ways and of course the beautiful Lakeland fells. Windermere is just 2 miles away, and the traditional towns and villages of Kendal, Ambleside, Grasmere, Keswick, Hawkshead and Coniston, are all within easy reach... Bar meals are served everyday from 12 - 9pm. * *We only closed on Christmas day. We are open as usual from Boxing Day, normal hours. We are only taking table bookings for New Years Eve night.
