Brandon Tomash is an Associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice at Miller Johnson. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and general corporate law matters for both public and privately-held businesses. Mr. Tomash provides legal counsel to private equity buyers, strategic buyers, sellers and management in all types of acquisition, disposition and investment transactions.
Mr. Tomash supports clients in commercial contracts and agreements, entity formation, licensing and tax issues as well as general business matters. He represents closely-held and family-owned Middle Market businesses and publicly-traded corporations.

Chelsea Austin is an Associate in Miller Johnson's corporate group, where she advises athletes, entertainers and social media influencers on legal issues in connection with their brand protection and promotion. Chelsea also represents clients locally and nationally on business law matters including commercial contracts, corporate governance, strategic matters and intellectual property rights.
Ewelina Sawicka is an attorney in the firm's immigration practice group and has five years of employment-based immigration experience. Ewelina's experience in this area includes assisting healthcare and automotive employers with petitions on behalf of nonimmigrant workers such as H-1B, TN, and L-1 visas. Ewelina also specializes in J-1 Visa Waivers and Schedule A Nurse Permanent Residence cases.
Ewelina was born in Gorlice, Poland, and speaks fluent Polish. Being an immigrant herself, she has a personal connection and understanding of the immigrant experience.
In her spare time, Ewelina enjoys traveling (has visited over 30 countries!), hiking, reading crime novels and spending time with her family and friends.
Josh Apel is an attorney in Miller Johnson's Litigation practice group.

With a deep understanding of business law, impeccable legal writing skills, significant experience taking and defending depositions, and a remarkable track record preparing for and executing at trial, Josh is renowned for his ability to navigate complex legal challenges and achieve favorable outcomes for his clients. He has experience crafting paths to success in state and federal trial courts, appellate courts, and domestic and international arbitration tribunals.
Before entering private practice, Josh served as in-house counsel for the country's largest title insurance company where he managed litigation involving title, escrow, and related real estate issues.
Josh has also been appointed to serve on the State Bar of Michigan's Client Protection Fund Committee.

Sandra Andre is an Associate in Miller Johnson's employment and labor section. She counsels a diverse group of employers and human resource practitioners on a full spectrum of employment-and labor law related legal issues. These range from matters of occupational safety and health, wage and hour law, employment discrimination, disabilities and accommodation, discipline and termination, hiring, and workplace harassment.
Ms. Andre is a part of the employment litigation team defending employers in cases including claims such as discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation. She is experienced preparing for trials and hearings. This includes drafting motions, reviewing depositions and conducting legal research.
Ms. Andre is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Law where she earned her J.D. magna cum laude in 2018. She made the Dean's List and in addition to receiving several scholarships, she was the recipient of a Jurisprudence Award. She was active in Moot Court where she received numerous top placing for both oralist and brief in competitions.
