Marketing, Communications and Enrolment Manager Jocelyn comes to Maranatha Christian School with over ten years of experience. Her diverse background, including various marketing roles in Motorsport, St Kilda Football Club and Financial Services, assists her in developing creative solutions that deliver growth, improve consumer experience and enhance brand recognition. Jocelyn is passionate about people's wellbeing and ongoing development. Outside of Maranatha, Jocelyn considers it a privileged to lead a community outreach program that provides wholesome meals, practical aid and referrals to essential services to vulnerable members of her local community.

Mr Andrew Snook

Andrew is the Service Manager of Junction City formerly MTI Business Services where he has been for since 2010.  He has a bachelor degree in Ministry, has worked for Churches in pastoral roles in Mill Park, Rowville and Berwick.  He has worked with Baptist, Church of Christ, Wesleyan Methodist and independent churches.  His other interest in technology has led him to work in varied roles in IT.  He strongly believes IT should help people to achieve and is not the end in itself. Andrew loves to challenge people on their faith journey and believes Maranatha is well placed to be a school that assists parents in seeing children achieve all their potential, physically and spiritually.  H  His extensive history on boards and management teams that help him contribute to the board at Maranatha. Andrew is married to Kylie and they have two girls who previously studied at Maranatha.  He is passionate about landscape photography, cycling and sport.

Mr Damian Wong

Damian is a senior governance, risk and compliance professional who has worked across various industries including education. Prior to joining the Board, he was on the board of a local learning community centre. Damian is married to Gillian and they have two girls currently studying at Maranatha. He is keen to see children being grounded in their faith while discovering and developing their God-given gifts and talents to serve Him and His people. He enjoys basketball, badminton, outdoor activities and ballroom dancing.

Mr Jeff Moodley - Chairman

Jeff Moodley has been consulting in Technology for 24 years.  He has successfully started and managed several consulting businesses along the way, helping many organisations see value from their activities.  Jeff has worked internationally within a diverse range of industries. Presently, he is the National Director of Digital for the Australian Christian Lobby. Jeff brings a depth of corporate and governance experience and has been on the Board since 2017.He is an active member in his local church, PlanetShakers South East, where he and his wife lead the business ministry.

Mr Keith Townend

Keith is a Chartered Accountant and has worked in a number of senior finance and management roles. He has worked in financial services both in Australia and New Zealand. Keith is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has served in various board roles in Private Sector, Education and Ministry organisations. Keith is married to Ann with three married children and nine grandchildren. Currently five of them are enrolled with Maranatha. Keith is also involved in leadership within his local church and is passionate to see people of all ages develop a strong Christian belief.

Mr Lindsay Buck

Lindsay graduated as communication and electronic engineer and has worked in Research and Development ever since.  Joining Agilent Technologies over 20 years ago, he now works as a Research and Development Director managing Scientific Instrument Research and Development projects, programs, and people.  His project management skills include managing project scope, resourcing, costs, schedule, quality, and financial viability of projects, as well as managing and coordinating many different departments and people both locally and internationally, to create commercially successful products. Lindsay has served on the board of his local church (The Winepress) as secretary of the board and has been a small group leader.    He is married to Sally and they have three daughters.They chose to send their children to Maranatha because the teachings of Jesus Christ are taught to be central in every decision and action, which equips all students to make wise and healthy decisions throughout their entire lives.Lindsay currently devotes most of his spare time to family activities but is also a keen tennis player and loves caravanning around Australia on family holidays.

Mr Rob Sanderson

Rob has been the Business Manager since 2007. He has experience in various industries, including Not-For-Profit and warehousing and distribution. Rob studied Commerce (University of Natal - Durban), Theology and is a CPA. Rob enjoys the variety of working in the school environment and allowing staff to grow so they can have a positive impact on the life of the school. He is a Christian, husband, father and motorsport enthusiast.

Mr Stephan Munyard

Deputy Principal Stephan is an experienced educator with a strong commitment to academic and student development in the Christian school context. He started his career at Maranatha Christian School teaching Chemistry and Science, and subsequently took on several leadership roles. Following this he served at Waverley Christian College as Head of Secondary for nine years. Stephan holds Masters degrees in Science and Educational Leadership and is dedicated to creating a culture of excellence while ensuring care for staff, students, parents and the school community. He is passionate about the dynamic integration of Faith and learning as the Gospel shapes and re-shapes the lives of young people. Stephan loves his family, missions, travelling, surfing, running and playing music.

Mr William Jackson - CEO

William joined Maranatha as Head of Campus in 2009 and became Principal in 2016. He previously taught at Brighton Grammar School and Penleigh & Essendon Grammar School. William studied Commerce (the University of Melbourne), Education and Theology. He is an experienced and passionate teacher of Legal Studies and Accounting. William loves working with young people and seeing them reach their God given potential in all areas (spiritual, academic, social, physical and cultural). He believes that strong relationships and good habits are the key to effective education and Christian growth. William's desire is that Maranatha graduates will be used by God to impact his kingdom in a significant way. He is a husband, father, church member and keen supporter of the Collingwood Football Club.

Mrs Candice Thornton

Director of Studies Candice arrived at Maranatha after having worked within the finance and marketing industries, both within the United Kingdom and Australia. Her love of teaching was only amplified by her previous experiences. Candice has a passion for improving learning outcomes of students and seeing them achieve academically. A graduate of Maranatha herself, she has two daughters who will also continue the legacy of being part of the community. With husband, Aaron, they love to travel and enjoy watching and participating in sport.

Mrs Colleen Dutlow

Head of Campus (Endeavor Hills) Colleen has worked in the Science and Mathematics Faculties where she has held various leadership roles and also served as the Year 9 and 12 Coordinator, she was previously Head of Senior School before taking on her new role in 2018 as Head of Endeavour Hills. Colleen's passion is to see both staff and students reach their potential in God and be used by Him to bring love and peace to their wider community. Community is of utmost importance to her, having emigrated from South Africa in 1987. Her gift of hospitality is widely used to serve at Maranatha as she believes that hospitality is one of the keys to building community. Colleen has been teaching for over 30 years, having started at Maranatha Christian School in 1989, she has served at the school as both a teacher and parent (Gareth- Class of 2010 and Jesse- Class of 2013) and her passion for the school is unwavering.

Mrs Jenny Rus

Head of Officer Campus Jenny has a love for learning and a passion to see students work hard and aim to excel in all that they do. She has been teaching for over 20 years and has held various leadership positions in Early Learning and Junior Schools. Jenny completed her studies at Melbourne University and began her teaching career at Maranatha Christian School as the Primary Music teacher. Throughout her career, Jenny was appointed leadership positions including Early Learning Centre Director, Year 5/6 Coordinator and Head of Junior School. Jenny believes that students should be provided with diverse, challenging, and rich educational experiences within a supportive framework in place. With this in mind, Jenny is currently overseeing the ELCs and Junior Schools as Director of Junior Schools and is also Head of Officer Campus.

Mrs Suzanne McDonald - Secretary

Suzanne is the Executive Assistant and Company Secretary for Maranatha Christian School.  She holds degrees in Arts from Monash University and Academy of Interior Design. Executive Assistant Suzanne is the Executive Assistant and Company Secretary for Maranatha Christian School.  She holds degrees in Arts from Monash University and the Academy of Interior Design.  Outside of Maranatha, she serves as Secretary on the Board of HopeBuilders International, an organisation that seeks to break the cycle of poverty in Uganda. Suzanne loves God's creation and enjoys painting, creating and experiencing the world through nature. Spending time with God is a big part of her life, she and her husband Paul attend One Hope Community Church.
