Dr Kara Frost

Dr Kara completed her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Melbourne four years ago. After graduating she moved up to Bendigo, where she lives with her two cats and two rabbits. Kara has a special interest in internal medicine and working with rabbits. In her free time, you can find her playing video games and reading comics.

Dr Kathryn Logan

Dr Kathryn Logan loves her horses, her dogs and her chickens

Dr Leigh Buchanan

Dr Leigh is your stereotypical feline fanatic, aka crazy cat lady. How could she not be when she has a cat like Slim?! Graduating from The University of Melbourne with honours, Leigh opted for a scenery change and moved herself (and Slim of course) up to Bendigo where she began her career in a mixed practice clinic! Apart from her love of cats, Dr Leigh also enjoys horse riding with Monty, her chestnut stock horse, road trips and exploring the countryside.

Dr Mark Sycamnias

Dr Mark started his working career as a mechanic before going back to university to become a veterinarian. Mark graduated from the University of Adelaide.

Dr Nadia Wong

Nadia graduated in 2011 from Melbourne University. After travelling and working all around Australia, but she kept coming back to Bendigo and joined McIvor Road in 2018. (I just can't seem to leave!!!) Nadia completed Memberships in Small Animal Surgery 2017 and enjoys a mixture of referral orthopaedics and soft tissue surgeries as well as Emergency and Critical Care. When not at work, Nadia can be found sleeping in with her 3 cats, a Belgian Shepherd named Dante and Chiron the Staffy (AKA Brown Dog). ​Her diet consists mostly of steak, oysters and exotic fruits. She would also love to have a goat farm and the time to learn more about surgery. Nadia is starting an Internship in Small Animals, at Southpaws Specialty Surgery in 2021. We are very excited for her!!

Dr Senura De Silva

Dr Senura has HUGE soft spots for golden retrievers and other creatures great and small. He graduated in 2015 and worked in a variety of emergency and general practice clinics. He developed keen interest in surgery, ultrasound and is currently training to do more advanced orthopaedic procedures such as TPLO's. When not at work, Senura is usually on an adventure with Annie-Bananie, his beloved golden retriever!

Dr Shayne Ault

​Shayne grew up in Rochester before heading across the border to study Vet Science at CSU in Wagga Wagga. After graduating Shayne worked for a 24hr vet hospital in NSW before returning home to Bendigo to work in both the GP and emergency sides of McIvor rd. Shayne has a keen interest in all facets of veterinary medicine and is passionate about preventative medicine and a holistic approach to patient care and well being.​

Dr. Michelle Williams

Michelle grew up on a hobby farm in the northwest of England. Her family emigrated to Western Australia once she finished high school. There she completed her veterinary degree and graduated from Murdoch University in 2002. Since graduation Michelle has lived and worked in central Victoria caring for pets and farm animals. Michelle has one cat called Spencer, one dog called Ellie and two small children. She is a keen mountain biker and loves riding Bailey the Quarter Horse. Michelle enjoys all aspects of general practice but has specific interest in small animal medicine, anaesthesia, pain management and the care of elderly animals. Michelle is accredited to perform the pre-export preparation of cats and dogs travelling overseas.
