Lynn Conrad

Job Titles:
  • Member of the Board
  • Board of Directors
  • Fundraising
Lynn has been a board member at Moore Humane Society since 2013 focusing on fundraising and special events. She is currently an information technology recruiter with The Conrad Group and has won numerous awards through JFC Associates, RHI Consulting and Management Recruiters International for "best in class" within the industry. She attended Eastern Michigan University majoring in Fine Arts and currently resides in Whispering Pines living with her dog and best friend Easton. Why did she become involved with Moore Humane Society? "After moving to N Carolina from Baltimore I read an article in The Pilot about an animal welfare group named Moore Humane Society. Having loved animals my entire life felt becoming involved with this wonderful organization would be a way of giving back to the community and supporting a noble cause: saving animals who have hit a bump in the road who so greatly deserve a second chance in finding a safe and happy home."

Patricia (Trish) Holt Parker

Job Titles:
  • Provisional Board Member
After graduating from St. Mary's College, I finished my undergraduate studies at UNC-CH with BS degree in Economics and Master's in Biomechanics. While in graduate school, I was involved in the start up of a company called Isotechnologies that designed and manufactured quantitative muscle testing and range of motion machines. When Isotechnologies was sold, I moved to Pinehurst where I worked as a real estate broker until my second child was born. I am currently part owner and serve on the Board of Directors for Holt Oil Company. Since my college years, I have also worked part time as a Fitness/Yoga Instructor and Personal Trainer at various gyms. I have been teaching classes at First Health since 1993 and teach regularly at Southern Pines Yoga Company. In 2012, I began volunteering at MHS with the intent to give back to an organization whose mission and core values were dear to my heart. It immediately became apparent that the love and immense joy I received from our homeless pets far outweighed anything I could possibly give. Two of these pets, Isabella and Bubbie Boy, became a part of our family. The gratitude one feels when caring for and loving our homeless pets is greatly magnified when these precious animals find true happiness in their forever homes. I am very thankful to be a small part of the large and visionary efforts of Moore Humane Society.
