OSTEOWORKS - Key Persons

Dimity Swanson

Dimity comes with an empathetic and organised history, which is a wonderful experience for our patients to experience. She joined Osteoworks in 2020 and is an excellent asset to our clinic.

Dr. Ben Weavell

Hailing from the foothills of the Dandenongs in Melbourne's outer east, Ben came directly to Osteoworks as a graduate of Victoria University. After seeing the Karate Kid movie as a seven-year-old, Ben says he was inspired to get his junior black belt before the call of team sport became too loud to ignore. A diehard Hawthorn fan, Ben played AFL at the local and representative level as a youngster and has worked as an Osteopath with the women's VFL team Western Spurs. Before his studies in Osteopathy, Ben completed Certificates III and IV in Fitness and has a particular interest in rehabilitation and movement training. Ben uses a combination of hands-on structural osteopathic techniques such as mobilisation, manipulation, stretching and massage, depending on the needs of the individual. Ben strongly believes that the body is a unit. Therefore, to help his patients function efficiently and achieve their goals, he considers all facets of health. x

Dr. John White

Shortly after, he established Osteoworks to cope with the exponential growth in his practice - driven by happy patients. He began training Osteopaths in 2005. John is married, has four children, and has been a keen basketballer and runner.
