RCCG VICTORY - Key Persons

Chris E. Ogali

Job Titles:
  • Pastor
Pastor Chris Ogali is a man of great faith in God. He believes that with God, nothing shall be impossible. By the grace of God, he combines this with passionate worship and praise and God has continued to be faithful to Him. He loves to pray effectually and fervently as a way of life. Jesus Christ through all of these, by His Spirit, has continued to be the mainstay of his walk with God, a walk which he began over 35 years ago. As a professional accountant who was running his own accounting and insurance businesses having worked for several years in top management in both sectors, Pastor Chris Ogali committed his heart, time and resources to the service of God. This later took him to serve as an official in the Victoria Island, Lagos Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship and later to the Ikoyi/ Victoria Island Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Here he served diligently and faithfully as pioneer praise band leader, a Sunday School teacher and in various other capacities as his pastor assigned to him. He was later appointed as a minister to assist a Parish Pastor. From here, he was sent to pastor a new church in Lagos Island. By the grace of God, he was able to purchase land in a prime location, put up a building to which he relocated the church from the rented uncompleted building where it had started. He pastored the church until he got the call to move to the United States of America. Before relocating, Pastor Ogali properly handed over the church (congregation and building) to a couple whom God sent to him miraculously to pastor. Pastor Chris Ogali has continued to grow through many conferences, seminars, and workshops. He attended the Haggai Institute for Advanced Leadership Training in Singapore as well as the RCCG Bible College Victoria Island, Lagos. These exposures fired up his zeal for missions and church planting. He planted, by God's grace, with his wife, some churches while in Lagos. He took literally the notion that, with a congregation of 100 people one could plant 5 churches, by the grace of God. Pastor Chris Ogali moved to Miami, Florida in 2001. Here, a pastor of a new church that was having conflicts was led to hand over the remnants of the church to him. Pastor Ogali accepted under one condition, that he first of all fulfill his mandate to plant a church in Miami. This he did and thus started his mission in Miami with him supervising two churches from the onset. Pastor Ogali later taught his team that despite the challenges, with some sacrifice, church planting even in the prevailing climate was achievable. Out of these two churches, six more were planted. Out of the eight parishes, six are standing strong to date. Moreover, leaders have been raised who should be able to stand firm and lead others in righteousness. At various times, as a parish pastor, zonal coordinator or Provincial Pastor, Pastor Ogali supervised these churches, including other RCCG churches in the entire State of Florida, part of North Carolina and the Caribbean Islands where He registered The RCCG Praise Gates as a church in the US Virgin Islands. Pastor Ogali is an ordained Pastor/Elder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. He is based in Miami, Florida and pastors Victory Parish Miami. His constant Word is "The just shall live by faith" (Hebrews 10: 38). Faith, just like hope, never disappoints. Pastor Ogali has the solid support of his wife, Pastor Ude Ogali. Together with some faithfuls, they continue to carry out the purpose of God.
