I have been very blessed to grow up in a Christian home with parents who loved and taught me their faith. Looking back, I'm not sure I knew a time where I didn't know the Lord, although I remember praying for the first time when I was around 5 years old. I was born in Tennessee and I'm glad to be home in the south after many years in Massachusetts. Most of my family still lives in southeast Tennessee. That's where I received my undergraduate degree from Bryan College, having graduated in 2010. The Lord continued to work in me through college, eventually calling me to seminary a few years later. So, I followed that call to Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary just north of Boston, Massachusetts. During that time, that Lord matured me in many ways and made clear a calling into full-time ministry. It was during that time that I began dating my now wife, Meredith. I graduated in 2019 and was ordained in 2020. After serving at another church for a time, the Lord called me to Saint Andrews to serve as the Pastor of Outreach in June of 2022.

Bob Bryant

Job Titles:
  • Assistant Pastor
I was called to my Savior at the age of 12 as part of a communicants' class at another Presbyterian church. I was also blessed to have two godly parents, who discipled me through my formative years. God was also pleased to use many mentors in my life who modeled Christian living for me over the years. In my career, I have worked in the areas of accounting and investment management for over 35 years and am still bi-vocational there. In 2011, I began to sense the call to ministry and enrolled in LAMP Theological Seminary. I completed a Masters of Divinity in 2017 and then completed post-graduate work in counseling at Westminster Theological Seminary. I was ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America in August of 2018.

Craig Kessler

Job Titles:
  • Director of Media & Communications
Born and raised in the rural town of Valley City, Ohio, my youth consisted of playing the drums and basketball, building tree houses, and helping on a sheep and pig farm. Undergraduate schooling took place at Hiram College, an equally small town, with majors in English, Education, Religion, and a Music minor. This schooling prepared me for lots of different professional hats, including restaurant owner, English & journalism teacher, and marketing agency owner. A Master's in Education from Lesley University was thrown in along the way too, for good measure. As a youth, exploring the 25 acres of the farm and countless miles of bicycling, were excellent times for God to impress upon me his splendor. Every day, he continues to do so through my children and spouse. I am blessed with an incredible family consisting of my spouse and best friend, Lucy Sue; and with five wonderful children, Emerson, Piper, Olivia, Tristan, and Isabel.

Marc Rattray

Job Titles:
  • Senior Pastor
I was touched by God's grace and became His child when I was 13, although I remember always being interested in the things of God. God brought me and my family to SAPC in March of 2003 as the Director of Worship & Arts. In 2017 I added the role of Director of Ministries and began the process of having my ordination credentials transferred into the PCA which led to SAPC calling me to be its Associate Pastor in 2019. On November 20, 2022 it was my great joy to be elected and subsequently installed as the Senior Pastor of SAPC. Born and raised in Vero Beach, FL, South Carolina has been my home for 35 years. After earning both a Bachelors and Masters in Church Music, God led me to the University of South Carolina for post graduate studies. It was there that I met my wife, Sharon who serves as SAPC's organist. Sharon and I have 2 sons, Truman (Emma) and Matthew. When there are periods of "time off," I enjoy spending time with my family, as well as hiking, and cooking.

Paul Reynolds

Job Titles:
  • Facilities Manager
I was born into and raised in the Presbyterian Church as the son of a pastor. My early childhood was spent in Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina before my family moved to Columbia, SC when I was ten. I went to Richland Northeast High School and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Psychology. In the years that followed, I worked in restaurant and retail management before God directed my path to SAPC. Although from a young age I had always felt the presence of God in my life, it was on a church youth retreat that the Holy Spirit overwhelmingly drew me to Jesus and into a personal relationship with my Savior. I am married to Amy, SAPC's Associate Director of Worship & Arts, and we have one son, Tripp.

After graduation, I began to pursue a career opportunity with Chick-fil-A. As part of this process, I moved to Texas in 2017. While I was working there, I got involved with the youth group at my church. During this time, I began to feel the Lord calling me into youth ministry. I have been at SAPC working with the youth since July of 2019. I also work as our Media Administrator at the church.
