Mrs. Jenkins is a member of the St. Lawrence Parish. In her spare time, Mrs. J. is probably scrolling through Pinterest or going glamping with her husband and two sons. Mr. Derek Leiker

Mr. Derek Leiker teaches junior high social studies at St. Lawrence School. He moved to the Lawrenceburg area from Kansas where he also taught junior high social studies and preschool through junior high physical education. The Kansas State Department of Education awarded Mr.Leiker's social studies classes the Standard of Excellence for their performance on the state assessment. Mr. Leiker integrates sign language and interactive, hands-on lessons in his classes. Mr. Leiker currently coaches football at Lawrenceburg High School. During Mr. Leiker's career, he has coached football, basketball, and track at both the junior high and high school levels. He was part of the Meade High School football coaching staff when the team won the Kansas state championship in 2010. He was also part of the Lawrenceburg High School football coaching staff when the team competed for the state championship at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis in 2018. Mr. Leiker has taken football, basketball, and track teams to state competition multiple times and was recognized as the Kansas Junior High Coach of the Year in 2016.

Mr. Dennis has spent all of his professional career in education. He graduated from IU Bloomington with a Bachelors in Secondary Education. He was in public education for 17 years. During that time he was involved in coaching football and basketball, sponsoring the National Junior Honor Society, coaching Academic Teams, and serving as an Instructional Leader. He earned his Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Saint Mary.

Miss Emily is coming from St. Mary's School where she worked as the Administrative Assistant. She and her husband Bill have 2 children: William (eighth grade) and Corinne (sixth grade) that will be merging to St. Lawrence this upcoming school year.

Mrs. Kassie Coy

Mrs. Kassie Coy is the fourth and fifth-grade language arts and religion teacher. This is her fifteenth year teaching, with fourteen of those at St. Lawrence. She previously taught junior high language arts for thirteen years. She grew up in Rising Sun and graduated with honors from Franklin College with her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and middle school endorsements in language arts and social studies. Mrs. Coy and her husband have three children, all of who attend St. Lawrence School. She and her family are St. Lawrence parishioners, and she feels incredibly blessed to have her work and spiritual community so closely tied to her family. In her spare time, Mrs. Coy loves to read, bike, hike, play board games, and spend time with her family.

Mrs. Kelly Pendergest

Mrs. Kelly Pendergest is the Assistant Principal. This is her fifteenth year in education, having taught Kindergarten through high school science. She holds degrees from Saint Louis University and Newman University. Her favorite part of daily life at St. Lawrence is the many student field trips!

Mrs. MaryAnn Atwood

Mrs. MaryAnn Atwood graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in social studies. She also has a background in special education. She has been in the classroom for 13 years, 3 of them at St. Lawrence School. She and her husband Josh have three sons, Mason, Tanner, and Conrad. Mrs. Atwood spends her free time at the gym watching her boys play basketball.

Mrs. Suzy Rice

Mrs. Rice and her husband live in Greendale and have 3 adult children and 2 granddaughters. She spends vacations going to see her granddaughters in Iowa. She and her husband have also traveled to the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas numerous times and Wisconsin and Minnesota to fish. She enjoys

Rev. Jonathan Meyer

Father Jonathan Paul Meyer was ordained a priest in 2003. After his ordination he served as the Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis for five years. He has also served at several parishes including: Our Lady of the Greenwood, St. Luke Catholic Church, the three parish communities of St. Joseph, St. Ann and St. Mary's in Jennings County and currently serves as the pastor of All Saints in Dearborn County. Father Meyer was educated at the USI in Evansville, IN and the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. After Graduation he continued his studies at the Pontifical North American College obtaining a S.T.B. and a Masters in Spiritual Theology from the Angelicum in Rome. He priesthood has been one marked by an intentional involvement in the formation of youth and young adults through speaking, leading retreats and promoting World Youth Day initiatives. His other gift has been the renewal of parish life through creative and innovative ministry. All the while, he maintains a presence on the internet with homilies and other teachings. He has written and published two children's plays and recently wrote a chapter for Dynamic Catholic's book, Beautiful Hope. Father Meyer has also been engaged in coaching Track and Cross Country since 2009; coaching at public schools; at Jennings County High School for 4 years and most recently at East Central High School.
