Member of the board, used to teach drawing and visualizing at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany (now retired). He studied zoology and scientific illustration and was a practicing scientific illustrator in London for 16 years prior to taking up his appointment in Germany.
