Formed as an independent team within Legg Mason in 2003, Summit Financial has grown consistently over the ensuing years. We became a Focus Financial Partner Firm in 2014, a move that broadened our resources and services. Later, in 2015, we merged with FPL Asset Management in Monroe, LA and in 2019, with Massingale & Associates in Ruston, LA. These acquisitions have allowed Summit Financial to grow, making us one of the largest independent firms in Louisiana. We serve clients throughout the Gulf South region of the United States.
