The Teaching Eye Surgery Foundation (T.E.S.) was established in Geneva in May 2007, with the support of the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève (HUG) - Geneva University teaching hospital , the Department of Health of the Canton of Geneva and the Minsitry of Health and Quality of Life of Mauritius. T.E.S. is a Swiss non-profit foundation and as such is managed, supervised and audited in strict accordance with the requirements of the laws and regulations of both the Swiss federal government and the Geneva authorities... T.E.S. focuses on the teaching of vitrectomy and retinal detachment procedures. T.E.S.'s other areas of expertise lie in the prevention and treatment of glaucoma; it also specialises in surgical procedures such as the treatment of cataract, the correction of strabism, as well as in corneal transplantation...
