Emma is a graduate from Reading University in psychology and is part qualified and has trained with Turner & Co for 8 years.
She has a great working relationship with our clients and ensuring that the day to day communication and work with clients is dealt with and completed well. Emma also believes that clients should be treated in the same high and personal standard as she would want to be and goes out of her way to ensure that is the case.
She does the VAT returns, sole trader and small limited companies accounts, supports Margaret on audits. She also deals with the day to day enquires and questions that clients have alongside Margaret so they get the answers they need quickly and the advice they want to make best decisions.
I Qualified in a Guildford provincial firm managing accounts, audit and taxation and progressed to also looking after the audit of large multinational clients for 6 years. Following 5 years at Touche Ross in London in the audit department dealing with large audits and often needing to ‘think outside the box' to ensure audit assurance was gained and clients were happy - I then worked as PA to Partner in another provincial Guildford firm before setting up Turner & Co in 1990.
I'm the owner and like to be involved in the client work, to understand their needs, goals and aspirations so that we provide the service they deserve and require. This means that you as a client always have direct access to me. For owner managed businesses this makes a big difference when they might be clients of a firm where they never get to meet the partner and are always dealt with by a junior, who is often replaced by another junior! Zoe is practice manager here and Turner & Co and also helps the team with accounts preparation. Her primary role is to ensure the smooth running of our systems. As a result clients get a speedy and efficient service with Turner & Co.
