The mission of TREAT U is to improve patients' health by increasing therapeutic efficacy and reducing the incidence of adverse side effects, hence, reducing treatment costs for healthcare systems. TREAT U is dedicated to the development of targeted nanotechnology-based platforms for the specific delivery of drugs..... TREAT U is a spin-off from the University of Coimbra, founded in January 2010. The founder partners, entrepreneurs and scientists with a vast experience in the fields of Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Technology, obtained their PhD degrees in Universities and Research Centers of excellence.
