Ivica is an assistant professor at the department of Visual Communications Design at the Arts Academy in Split, where he teaches Interaction Design and Interactive Media Design. He received a doctorate from the University of Split and several other degress from other international institutions. Since 2001 he has been working on promoting and introducing the Interaction Design in Croatia and the region. The activities concerning the promotion of the interaction design include a series of workshops and they resulted in the organization of the International Symposium at the Arts Academy in Split in 2009. At the end of last year his book Designing New Media, Design and the New Media - Croatian Context (1995 - 2010) was published. He is currently coordinating the UrbanIxD project for the University of Split. Ivica is also the vice president of the Croatian Design Society.
Sara is a CEO of the Institute for Transmedia Design, based in Slovenia. She is a ‘hybrid' - a designer, strategist, educator and thinker. She has been working for many years on the promotion of interaction and interactive design disciplines in Slovenia, organizing events, designing labs and lectures. As a consultant she has worked on various international projects. In 2015 she has been chosen among 40 EU consultants who work on audience development via digital means to take part in policy debates under the project The Voice of Culture - a Structured Dialogue between the European Commission and the cultural sector.
