Tubbs Drum uses a proprietary process to produce a completely flat surface on the drum shell before the profile is cut. We believe this is most important in a good sounding drum... Tubbs drum also does rewrapping. Rewrapping is a great way to refresh that old standard drum kit. Tubbs drum's view on drum wrap is that it should be adhered to the shell as if it were the outer most ply of the shell, making the wrap part of the shell not just a cosmetic fixture. We also use a latex water based adhesive that will not degrade the wrap over time.
