TVEC - Key Persons
Charissa has an extensive background in Marketing & Tourism, and experience in website development. She has owned and/or operated her own businesses in the past. Charissa uses her experience and skills to ensure the business runs smoothly and that our staff and clients are supported. She loves all animals and feels lucky to work in such a beautiful environment. She is passionate about staff well-being and looks after TVEC's Human Resources, including Workplace Health and Safety. She also helps with keeping our website and social media pages updated.
John Is the Director of Tweed Valley Equine Centre (TVEC). John has successfully run many businesses throughout his life and is a passionate member of the racing industry of Northern Rivers and South-East Queensland Region. He also breeds and races thoroughbred horses in the same region. When he is not too busy coming up with new ideas to make the business even better, he can be found enjoying the view and serenity of the property on his ride-on-mower.
Pete has worked for TVEC for over 15 years and is our resident ‘fix it man'. He takes pride in ensuring the grounds are maintained to a high standard and that everything is kept in working order. He has been on or around farms for most of his life and has over 35 years' experience working with horses. Most of his experience has been halter showing quarter horses, stock horses and thoroughbreds at Agricultural shows throughout South-East Queensland and Northern NSW. He has a passion for training young horses in halter and presentation.
The TVEC round yard is available for client use. A great place to lunge, work and ride in a safe and enclosed space.
