Western Veneer & Slicing was started in 1988. Western Veneer is a manufacturer of wood veneer utilizing three Amitec lineal slicing machines, along with three frame saws for producing hardwood veneers in either Exotic or Domestic species. Western Veneer specializes in the Western Pines, Ponderosa & Sugar, along with all other Domestic and foreign softwoods and hardwoods. Western Veneer can produce veneers from 1/50th inch to 3/16th inch or customized to our customers specifications ranging from 48 inches to 16 feet. Western also has one Diehl splicer allowing for production of veneer sheets for architectural panels in all species... Being able to respond quickly to customers needs is how we intend to maintain and build our business; custom packaging is another service we provide our customers.
