Lichfield Running Club was founded by Dave Lawton, Dave Nason, Mike Green and Dave Lewis in 1983. Lichfield Running Club members have been running and racing round Lichfield for over 35 years. Nowadays the club has more than 100 members, with weekly training sessions catering for a wide range of ability. Members also compete in races; the yellow Lichfield Running Club vest is regularly seen in local and national events... We have our own club Grand Prix championship with races ranging from 5km to half marathon, an Off-Road series, Time Trial series, and team events. We can currently cater for adult runners aged from 18 upwards. Yo unger runners should look at the Staffordshire Athletics Network.
