Caroline Chamberlain

Caroline's passion for the outdoors was developed through childhood trips to the Lakes, and later, expeditions to South America, South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. She spends every spare minute of her valuable time honing and refreshing her personal climbing, navigation, mountain biking and skiing skills. Caroline leads our Forest School and First Aid training programmes and enjoys every aspect of her varied and adventurous work.

Jon Chamberlain

Jon is a Mountaineering Instructor and highly enthusiastic outdoor educator. 20 years teaching PE in secondary schools in Derbyshire, Newcastle and Northumberland, with 10 years as an Assistant Head further enhance his skills and experience. A 30 year passion for climbing remains undiminished, with 1000s of routes throughout Britain and Europe already 'ticked', there is still so much to do. He is happiest multi-pitch climbing in the Lake District, sport climbing on the Costa Blanca, Spain or bouldering at Fontainebleau. Jon is Technical Adviser for Mountain Activities for a growing number of local outdoor activity companies.
