Dr. James Pressley

Dr. Pressley realized his passion for veterinary medicine at a young age. As an only child, his brothers and sisters had four legs. He graduated from NC State in 2006, and has been practicing in the Charlotte area ever since. He is married to his wonderful wife Jenn, and has two beautiful daughters, Madeline and Katherine. They also have the cutest little King Charles Spaniel named Charlie. In his spare time, Dr. Pressley loves to follow sports, travel, and study his other passion: history.

Dr. Katheryn Skinner

Dr. Skinner earned a B.S. in Microbial, Cellular, and Molecular Biology from Auburn University in 2010 and graduated with honors from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Her special interests include diagnostic imaging, surgery, and helping owners understand complicated medical diagnoses. She loves spending time with her husband and four kids. She enjoys cooking/baking, watching football, and traveling with her family.

Outside of work, she is a proud pet parent to one very crazy dog who keeps her on my toes and reminds me daily just how wonderful and unpredictable our furry companions can be! Whether it's through treating animals or sharing her love for them, She is here to help ensure every pet gets the care and attention they deserve.

Sarah has been an employee at Brookdale Animal Hospital since 2015. She is a graduate from the University of California-Davis with a Bachelor's in Animal Science with an Emphasis in Physiology and Behavior and has been in the veterinary field since 1994. She is married and has two wonderful children. She has two dogs, (Ranger and Penny), 5 cats, (Pop, Liberty, Justice, Bell, and Probie) and she enjoys gardening and fitness/working out and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
