FIRST LUTHERAN VAN NUYS

We are a congregation that focuses on serving our neighbor and proclaiming God's Law and Gospel. We serve others through a free Saturday morning breakfast to the community, every Saturday of the month, except for the third Saturday, when another congregation serves the breakfast. We also hand out boxes of food donated by a nearby store three days a week. We share the truth of God's Word near the Van Nuys Library, where we sing Christian songs and preach open-air... Our congregation, founded in 1920, is a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Our Sunday worship service at 8:30 a.m. is of a traditional style. As a congregation our mission is to share God's peace and forgiveness through Christ... First Lutheran Van Nuys welcomes you to share God's peace and forgiveness through Christ.
