Chauntelle joined Gonsalves Parry in September 2022 subsequent to being admitted to practice as an Attorney-at-Law in St. Christopher and Nevis in June 2022. She obtained her Legal Education Certificate upon graduating from the Norman Manley Law School (NMLS) in October 2021, having obtained her Bachelor of Laws with Second Class Honours from the University of the West Indies (UWI) Mona Campus in 2019. While in University, Chauntelle was immensely involved in campus life as the Public Relations Officer of the St. Kitts-Nevis Students' Association from 2017-2019, UWI Deputy Guild Publications Officer for Videography 2018-2019 and an active member of the NMLS Children's Outreach Programme, NMLS Student Association Treasury Committee, and UWI Guild Publications Committee. Prior to pursuing her law career, Chauntelle acquired a wealth of experience in the financial sector. She possesses a high regard for confidentiality and professionalism. Chauntelle is a committed professional with a sound knowledge of the law and an eye for detail and her current areas of practice include personal injury, insurance, succession, debt recovery, negligence, and enforcement of judgments.

Sonya is the economic citizenship expert within the firm and has primary responsibility for shepherding economic citizenship applications through the Ministry of Finance, St. Kitts and attending to ancillary matters related to such applications. Sonya is a director of the Bank of Nevis Ltd., an indigenous bank on the Island of Nevis and the Bank of Nevis International Ltd., an offshore bank which is the subsidiary of the Bank of Nevis Ltd. She is the chairperson of the Audit Committee and a member of the Human Resources and Compensation Committee and the Marketing Committee for both banks. Sonya is a Notary Public in the Federation of St. Christopher and Nevis.
