Attorney Kirk began her career as a lawyer in the Gwinnett County District Attorney's Office. As an ADA, she prosecuted cases at all court levels, including the Magistrate, Juvenile, and Superior Courts. Her years of working in the DA's office served as her training ground for practicing legal defense. Gaining experience in prosecution has given her a competitive edge in court trials, as she can infer how prosecutors think when handling a case. During her tenure at the DA's Office, Attorney Kirk served as a Senior Assistant District Attorney. As part of her responsibilities, she supervised other ADAs as well as trained prosecutors and police officers on all aspects of criminal law and trial techniques. She knows the importance of having everyone informed about the different legal procedures. Apart from imparting knowledge, she also inspired them to have a compassionate heart for those who are facing injustice. Attorney Kirk is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court, Northern District. She is constantly working and keeping in touch with other lawyers to continuously sharpen her skills and improve herself. Being affiliated with reputable organizations and institutions gives her an opportunity to improve herself not just professionally, but in terms of character as well.

Christa Kirk, our founder, had often observed defendants being underrepresented in court when she was still working as a prosecutor. When this happens, injustice occurs. In 2013, after more than nine years of prosecuting, she decided to move into private practice and established THE KIRK LAW FIRM, P.C. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights states, "Everyone charged with a penal offense has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty." Having prosecuted and reviewed thousands of cases, she has developed a keen sense of how jurors, prosecutors, and judges respond to legal and factual arguments. She has successfully tried cases before juries and has been featured on nationally televised programs.

Attorney Kirk also practices family law, representing clients in divorce, legitimation, paternity, and custody cases. Ever since she started her career in this field, she has successfully obtained custody for deserving mothers and fathers. She also handles child support reductions and increases, where warranted.
