At Henderson Hills we believe worship is about God and not about us. Because of that, we select and sing songs with lyrics that accurately represent who Christ is and what He has done. We also believe the Holy Spirit is the one who moves in hearts during worship and it's not our job to try to stir up emotions or cater to any particular personal preference. We simply select songs that speak Biblical truth... As long as this priority is met, we believe a variety of worship styles should be displayed in a church worship service. On any given Sunday you might hear a popular song from the radio sung right after a hymn written hundreds of years ago. In most services we have a vocal team accompanied by a full band which includes both electric and acoustic guitars, bass, piano, and drums...
