James R. Orr has proudly served clients in the Greater Kansas City area since 1981. As an undergraduate at the University of Kansas, Jim majored in English and Economics, and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. In law school, he was a member of the national moot court team, and received the American Jurisprudence award for appellate practice and procedure.
He has built a solid reputation for experienced, attentive, and highly efficient legal representation to individuals, families, businesses, and local governments. Jim is a native of the Kansas City area, with a breadth of experience that emphasizes practical, cost-effective solutions to your legal problems.
Jim also is committed to the community. In addition to a wide variety of civic and charitable interests, he volunteers as counsel to the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra and to Studio 804, a design-build graduate program of the University of Kansas School of Architecture.
