Alanna is as excited to work for Jen-Hill as we are to have her. She loves the thought of a company devoted to environmentally friendly products and practices. If you call Jen-Hill's main number there is a good chance Alanna will be the voice you hear. Here are a few things she has shared personally and professionally. Living in the southeast, Louisiana and Tennessee, with the exception of one year in California, she is proud to call Middle Tennessee her home. She loves the bright spirit and community feel of the region and all the natural resources. Alanna has a B.A. from MTSU. Her professional history began with childcare, retail, and office assisting. She is customer service driven and pleased to be a part of the Jen-Hill team.

Bill Degnan is our part time operations manager. He has semi-retired but is here most days to get the day's deliveries starting and receive the incoming trucks.

David Hines is Construction Manager for Jen-Hill Construction Materials. David graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1999. The 9 yrs before Jen-Hill were spent in the home-building industry. David manages Jen-Hill's small installation assistance crew. He estimates and oversees installation of all pond liners and repairs, schedules the installs of interior components for our Suntree Technologies stormwater quality units, and specializes in assisting contractors with our technical products. David is a great resource to Jen-Hill's customers providing budgetary installation costs for Jen-Hill's products and valuable installation experience

Jason Painter

Job Titles:

Jason Painter is the East Tennessee Sales Manager for Jen-Hill Construction Materials. He oversees the operations, sales, and marketing from our Knoxville, Tennessee location. Jason spends most of his time promoting new efficient technologies to civil engineers. He has been named North American Green's Salesman of the Year for the South Central Region and he has had several projects featured in national publications like Land and Water Magazine. Prior to joining Jen-Hill in 2003, Jason worked as a special education teacher and direct care professional serving kids with developmental disabilities. A Knoxville native, Jason attended Carson Newman College and the University of Tennessee. He graduated cum laude, earning a Bachelors of Science in Special Education in 2000. In graduate school the following year, Jason was recognized as the top special education intern at the University of Tennessee.

Jennifer Hines

Jennifer Hines is president of Jen-Hill Construction Materials. Upon Jen-Hill's opening in 1991, Jennifer managed customer accounts and credit functions from the Kappa Delta Sorority House at the University of Kentucky. After Graduating in 1995 with a degree in Business Administration, Jennifer took on the Accounting and office management responsibilities. Today Jennifer leads and works with the best and most talented team in the industry. Over the years, Jennifer and Jen-Hill have diversified to accommodate a rapidly evolving industry. Jennifer has grown up with the business and the business has grown under her and everyone at Jen-Hill's leadership.

Trey Hightower

Job Titles:

Trey Hightower joined Jen-Hill in 96. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a BS in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Management. Trey manages the promotion, marketing and sales of Jen-Hill's product line in Middle-TN and, for specialized products, in KY, IN, and OH. He develops new markets, and provides technical and construction training sessions for his areas of responsibility.Trey has been a part of many "firsts" with Jen-Hill. Trey worked with BLA (Bernardin Lochmueller & Associates Engineering) in Indianapolis in specifying, selling and installing Suntree Technologies special floating water treatment units for the Washington IN CSO project. Engineering News-Record rewarded everyone's efforts with the "2012 Best Projects" "TOP PROJECT" award for Civil Engineering/Infrastructure in the Mid-West. The awards honor projects built in the past year across Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin. The project was recognized by Water & Wastes Digest as one of its Top 10 Projects.Trey worked with Dr. Heather Brown of the MTSU ? in providing the first installation of the FilterPave Recycled Glass Porous Pavement System in Tennessee as a demonstration project on MTSU's campus. Trey sold and specified the first GlassPave Pavement Reinforcement Fabric used at the Nashville Airport and the first GlasGrid Pavement Reinforcement Grid for Metro Nashville Public Works. Trey has conducted erosion control and stormwater seminars for numerous engineering firms, municipalities, military bases, TDOT and the Corps of Engineers. Trey was North American Green's Salesman of the Year in the Southeast Region in 2003 and 2007.
