LEADING EDGE - Key Persons
Dr. Marise Wong was born and raised in Los Angeles, where she spent much of her time exploring and eating her way through the San Gabriel Valley with her family. She attended UCLA where she received her B.S. in Psychobiology and shortly after, received a second B.S. in Dental Hygiene from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Dr. Wong continued her dental career by earning her D.D.S. from Loma Linda University.
On a personal note, Dr. Wong loves dogs, enjoys all things Disney, caring for her house plants, and spending time with her husband, Mark. On weekends, you can most likely find Dr. Wong exploring gardens, drinking boba, spending time with her family, or doing something Disney related.
Dr. Roger Joe is a graduate of UCLA and the USC School of Dentistry and has been serving the San Gabriel Valley for 25 years. It is his privilege to join the Leading Edge Dental Family in 2020. He is married to his high school sweetheart and has four children. He is very active in his Christian church and community and enjoys family time, music and the outdoors. He loves to care for people in a kind, compassionate, gentle and comprehensive way. These are accompanied with his extensive clinical experience and use of the most advanced and predictable dental techniques available.
Dr. Joe is humbled and grateful to have been awarded the "Best Dental Office of the San Gabriel Valley" over the years. Dr. Joe is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, California Dental Association, San Fernando Dental Societ y, Christian Medical Dental Society, Spear Study Club, and The San Gabriel Implant Study Club.
Dr. Joe believes excellence in dentistry begins with a careful co-diagnosis and treatment plan to establish the goals him and his patients will achieve together. Communication and long-term relationships are important to Dr. Joe.
Dr. Joe is a caring, skilled professional, dedicated to simplifying what is often a very complicated and confusing area of health care. He wants all his patients to be informed and knowledgeable about their dental health care, from treatment plans and services, to insurance coverage. Dr. Lee grew up in the San Fernando Valley. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley, followed by his dental degree from the University of California at San Francisco in 1989. Upon completing his education, he returned home to the Valley where he established his practice.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Fernando Valley Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In addition to his full-time practice, he has taught at UCLA School of Dentistry as a Lecturer. He is active in his community where he dedicates his time and effort in serving his community.
Doctor Lee has been active with the Mission Hills Chamber of Commerce where he served as Vice-President and President, and received the Small Businessman of the Year Award of Mission Hills in 1998. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the North Valley YMCA and volunteed as a staff dentist for the Los Angeles Mission where he provided much needed dental care for the homeless of Los Angeles.
Dr. Lee has a strong commitment to provide the best quality dental care to all his patients. "Our equipment and care is definitely high tech, but our traditional approach is warm and friendly." Dr. Lee understands that good dental health and restoring teeth properly is very important. His emphasis is on prevention and helping patients achieve the highest level of health, function, and esthetics utilizing the latest proven techniques and materials.
