Lighthouse Point Electric (Lighthouse Point) is an electrical contractor operating out of Sarasota County and serving southwest Florida. Currently Lighthouse Point has an opening for a Lead Estimator of electrical projects. It is the responsibility of the Lead Estimator to review and interpret project specifications and drawings, and then based on the drawings and specifications; prepare a cost estimate to build the electrical project. The Lead Estimator should have good people skills and be comfortable dealing with owners, architects and construction managers. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate their estimating skills by providing a list of jobs that they estimated and that were awarded based on their estimate. Additionally, they will be asked to review the success of each project (were they completed within the budgeted hours and material cost).
