Lend A Hand is a resource of last resort, providing emergency financial assistance to low-income families and individuals for over 125 years... Lend A Hand Society provides emergency financial assistance to low-income families, individuals, seniors and disabled people in the Greater Boston area. Working with advocates at nonprofit and governmental social service agencies who make requests on behalf of their clients, LAH helps them meet their basic needs in a timely, dignified way... Lend A Hand pursues the simple and effective mission of helping people in need with basic life necessities in a timely and dignified manner. Lend A Hand makes grants in Greater Boston in three areas.
