Adam Garth is the managing partner of the Las Vegas, Nevada office at Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. With over three decades of legal experience, Mr. Garth is recognized for his expertise in complex commercial litigation and liability defense, particularly in the areas of medical malpractice defense for physicians, health care providers, hospitals, and medical organizations.
Mr. Garth brings a unique approach to his litigation practice, aggressively defending health providers and facilities by pursuing all possible avenues for early case disposition and forcing those pursuing a case to adhere to all legal requirements, laws, and rules. His approach is to relentlessly pursue the rights of his clients by whatever legal and ethical means are necessary and available to achieve a favorable result.
As a seasoned trial lawyer, Mr. Garth is deeply involved in all aspects of litigation. His practice includes pre-trial preparation, conducting depositions, handling discovery and dispositive motions, and representing clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations for all forms of medical professional liability claims. He is known for his appearances before administrative and licensing boards for health care providers throughout Nevada, where he tirelessly advocates on behalf of medical professionals and healthcare providers, addressing licensing board actions and complaints. Additionally, Mr. Garth provides counsel to health care providers regarding employment contract negotiations and the formation of their respective professional corporations., to secure them the most advantageous compensation packages possible for his clients while advising on their rights and obligations.
Prior to relocating to Nevada, he was similarly engaged in health care liability defense litigation in California. In addition to his prior litigation practice in California, Mr. Garth served as a Temporary Judge in both the Fresno Superior Court and the Los Angeles Superior Court, presiding over a wide range of cases voluntarily, including small claims and traffic matters.
Before relocating out West, Mr. Garth was an extremely diverse practitioner in New York, serving as both a litigator and later as a principal law clerk to a New York State Supreme Court Justice. In this role, he acted as the primary legal advisor to the judge, handling diverse civil litigation matters, such as personal injury, matrimonial, products liability, medical malpractice, municipal, tax certiorari, contract and commercial litigation, real estate and land use disputes, and residential and commercial foreclosure proceedings. He reviewed all ex parte submissions and played a crucial role in settlement conferences, jury charge conferences, status conferences, pre-trial conferences, and preliminary conferences. Additionally, Mr. Garth authored thousands of decisions on a broad range of civil litigation matters on the judge's behalf. Attorneys on both sides regularly sought his intervention for speedy, fair, and effective resolutions to complex cases. As a result, his judicial part disposed of more cases by more than 50% over and above any other judicial officer in a five-county suburban New York City judicial department. His many years of practical legal experience afforded him a unique ability to dispose of a vast range of matters effectively and efficiently while at the same time dispensing due justice to the litigants.
Before he entered into the New York State court system, Mr. Garth's private practice primarily focused on catastrophic plaintiff's personal injury cases and products liability cases engaging in the full litigation spectrum from inception to disposition.
As the managing attorney for multiple law offices for nearly seven years, Mr. Garth was a key resource for new and experienced attorneys, providing them with invaluable legal strategies and guidance. He spearheaded a comprehensive reorganization of his previous firm's personnel and protocols, spanning from pre-litigation to trial. His leadership extended to the supervision of a professional and paraprofessional staff of over sixty employees, ensuring efficient case management. Mr. Garth personally reviewed all cases and formulated litigation plans for each, further solidifying his reputation as a strategic legal thinker. He has also skillfully prosecuted and defended various commercial and contract litigation matters for individuals and corporations in both State and Federal Courts. Mr. Garth earned his Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 1991 in Syracuse, New York, where he served on the executive board of the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts in 1988.
Mr. Garth is licensed to practice law in Nevada, California, and New York. Adrian L. Del Valle is an associate in the Lexington office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. He also regularly attended enforcement actions addressing criminal and civil liability actions under the Clean Air Act where he provided legal recommendations for the Cabinets final disposition. Moreover, Mr. Del Valle was a frequent participant in Oil and Gas bond conferences with corporate counsel and administrative personnel, which granted him the ability to get a first-hand account of the players in the regulatory environment. Notably, he conducted legal research and drafted memoranda, addressing complex environmental litigation matters, including a federal circuit split concerning over-filing under RCRA.
Additionally, he served as an Extern for the Kentucky Public Protection Cabinet, undertaking comprehensive legal research into regulatory, statutory, and constitutional matters. Mr. Del Valle commenced his journey with QPWB as a summer law clerk at the end of his first year of law school, gaining experience in appellate advocacy and brief writing for cases before the Kentucky Court of Appeals alongside QPWB's lead Kentucky Workers' Compensation Partner. He continued as a law clerk during the summer going into his third year, focusing on matters related to the Unfair Claims Settlement Practices Act, 42 U.S.C. ?1396 et seq, and gaining extensive experience with administrative agencies such as the Kentucky Department of Medicaid Services and the Kentucky Education and Labor Cabinet.
As a first-generation law school graduate, Mr. Del Valle attained his Juris Doctor at the age of twenty-three from the University of Kentucky Rosenberg College of Law, following his Bachelor of Science in International Affairs from Florida State University which he earned with academic honors obtaining his degree cum laude. He also managed to write a pro-Defendant thesis prior to graduating titled, "Perhaps the Founders Intended for Government to be Inefficient: The Case for Administrative Agencies Unconstitutionality and the Reduction of Federal Preemption in the Realm of Product Liability Regulation." Throughout his academic journey, he received numerous scholarships and awards, including the Provost Fellowship scholarship, the UK "Still We Rise" Scholarship, the honorable Joseph Green Memorial Scholarship, and a CALI award of distinction in Environmental Law an award that is only granted to the highest scoring student who contributed the most to legal scholarship. He was also selected by the Kentucky Bar Association Young Lawyers Division to receive a scholarship to study for the Kentucky Bar Exam.

Mr. Muhammad brings extensive experience to QPWB, having worked on over 75 cases in workers compensation, personal injury, and insurance defense. Alex "Allie" N. Cull is an associate in the Nashville office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Cull leverages her profound in-house counsel experience for her clients' following years at two national title insurance companies. In these roles, she served as claims counsel to more than 200 claims covering all 50 states and 16 different policies. She provided guidance and risk analysis on potential issuances of insurance and investigated title issues involving fraud, adverse possessions, defalcations, easements, boundary line issues, estate and trust transfer issues, liens or mortgage issues, and warranty liability. She also provided underwriting counsel related to the issuance of real estate insurance policies as well as compared surveys and diminution in value appraisals to legal descriptions to determine whether coverage existed under the terms of the issued policy.

Amy L. Turnbaugh is a partner in the Chicago office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Turnbaugh represents employers, self-insured employers, insurers, carriers and servicing agents in the defense of workers' compensation claims. She regularly appears before arbitrators, the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission, and in the circuit and appellate court levels to resolve and expedite claims through settlement, trial and appeal throughout Illinois.

Angelica B. Compas is a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Her legal expertise is centered on insurance defense, providing guidance and counsel for first and third-party property suits, risk litigation, medical malpractice defense, professional malpractice defense, and personal injury cases to leading insurance carriers.

Anita S. Johnson is an associate in the Chicago office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Since commencing private practice in 1976, she has practiced in many areas of civil litigation. She was founding partner of a Chicago law firm and for 18 years practiced in the areas of labor and employment, workers' compensation, personal injury tort defense and defense of employer/management in third party tort litigation. Her practice focuses in these areas and includes all areas of civil litigation involving employment litigation, workers' compensation defense, and third party litigation. Ms. Johnson advises employers in analysis of issues involving insurance coverage, independent contractor status, indemnity agreements and construction and transportation concerns as well as claims handling, audits, and risk analysis.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Johnson was a partner with a premier litigation defense law firm where she practiced in Chicago in all her current areas of practice. Previously, she was a partner and chair of the Workers' Compensation Practice Group at a Chicago top-tier litigation, business and employment law firm where she worked for 17 years.

John Andrew Robertson is a partner in the Dallas and Atlanta offices of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Since 2006 he has represented insurance companies, insurers, and other businesses in state and federal courts in the areas of insurance defense and insurance fraud cases, Major Case Investigation and Special Investigative Unit (SIU) litigation and coverage, general liability and civil litigation, first-party property claims, casualty and personal injury, premises liability, construction defect claims, trucking, non-subscriber injury claims, and tort and contract litigation claims. Mr. Robertson has conducted first chair arbitrations, mediations, and trials in hundreds of matters.
Prior to joining QPWB, he was a partner with an insurance defense law firm in Fort Worth, Texas acting as first chair trial attorney, and conducting arbitrations and mediations in over 100 matters involving insurance defense and fraud, medical billing, medical fraud, business litigation, subrogation, and RICO case investigations. Previously, as an associate, with a civil litigation and transactional law firm in Dallas, Texas he served as outside counsel for corporate entities and their employees insured against general civil liability and handled tort and contract litigation cases.
