Becky Barclay Prewitt has been a professional recruiter since 1998. She has worked for one of the largest staffing agencies in the world as well as a small, family owned and operated staffing agency. Prior to starting her recruiting career, Becky worked as a corporate paralegal in the Houston area. Becky's number one goal has always been and remains, customer service. Without the tenured relationships she has built over the past two decades, she would not be able to run a successful and reputable business. Customer service is not only the key to her success, she considers it a requirement for survival. Becky Barclay Prewitt is a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) and a Certified Temporary Staffing Specialist (CTS). She is a board member of the National Association of Personnel Consultants (NAPS), member of Houston Area Association of Personnel Consultants (HAAPC), a member the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce and member of Houston Independent Personnel Consultants (HIPC).
Jordan Wilson was hired as a Recruiting Assistant in 2022. Previously, Jordan worked in the hospitality industry for two family owned restaurants in Houston, Texas and a famous dessert shop in Augusta, Georgia. He brings a solid customer service background and witty sense of humor. Within 90 days of his start date, Jordan closed his first placement. Jordan plans to further his career in recruiting and is looking forward to building long term relationships with candidates and clients throughout Texas.
R.L. Barclay & Associates was named after Robert L. Barclay (Bob), Rebecca L. Barclay (Becky) and the generations of family before them with the initials, R.L. The company was founded on April 19, 2012. It was with high hopes that Bob would be working as a consultant for the company during his retirement. He granted Becky permission to use the family name for her business, R.L. Barclay & Associates, which she gladly did out of respect and admiration for her father. While losing her father was painful and difficult, Becky honors his legacy. Without Bob's advice and guidance, Becky would not have been able to start and grow a successful business. Bob is no longer here to offer his wisdom and direction, but he is always in our hearts and minds, each and every day.
Robert Lynn Barclay was called home by his Lord in January, 2013, after a long and valiant battle with cancer. Robert was very proud of his service to his country as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army during the late sixties, serving a tour of duty in Viet Nam. Robert worked as an Accountant, Controller, Vice President and CPA during his life. Born in East Texas, Robert spent most of his youth in Crockett, Texas, moving to Pasadena, Texas in the 1960's and graduating from Pasadena High School. He graduated from the University of Houston and went on to earn his certification as a Certified Public Accountant. Robert was a very special man, honorable, generous and kind. He was loved by all who knew him. He will be missed. He ran the good race, fought the good fight, and had a life well lived.
