SKATTLE - Key Persons
Adrian Holmes is the Managing Director of SKATTLE and an experienced family therapist who has been with the team at SKATTLE since it was founded in 2013.
Adrian has worked as a family therapist for the past decade and in this time has worked with a broad range of issues and experiences that families go through.
With a background in the child protection system, Adrian is a passionate advocate for kids and families and believes that a lot of problems that might seem overwhelming can be overcome with a chance to talk openly and honestly in a safe place like the counselling room.
Jane D'Arcy is a family counsellor at SKATTLE and her goal is to offer young people and their families a place to talk about difficulties in ways that leave them feeling capable and excited about life.
Jane is also passionate about offering training and professional development opportunities to practitioners in the field to enable them to have more helpful conversations with their client groups, and to prevent the all too common ‘burn out'.
Jane's orienting belief is that when people don't have an opportunity to talk about their feelings life can sometimes seem pretty hard.
She's also learnt that trying to impose her own hopes and ideas is not nearly as helpful as hearing about individual experiences.
