Dr. Dave Abel

Dr. Dave Abel was born and raised in Pennsylvania, but he progressively migrated west; first to Idaho, and then to Alaska. The Air Force originally brought him to Alaska as part of a four-year enlistment. He met his wife here in Alaska and has made Alaska his home. Dr. Abel obtained his undergraduate degree at UAA and attended medical school at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences in Washington. He returned to Anchorage for residency, and now calls Soldotna home. He and his wife have four boys who keep them busy. He loves biking, hiking, skiing, and camping, as well as quiet evenings reading with his family.

Dr. Kattrina Rall

Dr. Kattrina Rall was born in Anchorage, and grew up moving from place to place as an Army Brat. No matter where life took her though, Alaska was always home, and where she spent the most time. She returned to Alaska and obtained her undergraduate degree at UAA, and then attended the University of Washington School of Medicine as a part of the Alaska WWAMI program. During this time, she completed a one-month RuOp (Rural Opportunity) with Dr. Katy Sheridan at the end of her first year of medical school, and immediately knew that Soldotna was the place she wanted to call home. She completed her Family Medicine Residency in Spokane, WA, and is now happy to be back in Alaska, planting permanent roots on the Peninsula. She completed this journey with her husband, Dr. Shane Rall who completed his residency in Psychiatry, at her side. They have two kids (and counting), a dog, and an assortment of other pets who keep them on their toes. Dr. Rall enjoys spending time with family, reading, tabletop games, fishing, horseback riding, running, and is in the process of attempting to teach herself and her dog to skijor. Clinically, Dr. Rall's passion is in caring for women and children, including providing obstetrical care, and a focus on Breastfeeding Medicine. She is in the process of working towards her IBCLC so that she can provide more comprehensive breastfeeding care to mothers and infants.

Dr. Kristen Lee

Dr. Kristen Lee grew up in Eagle River, Alaska. She attended the University of Washington School of Medicine, then completed Family Medicine Residency in Spartanburg, South Carolina. As a medical student, she spent 6 months in Soldotna as a WRITE student with Dr. Katy Sheridan and Dr. Kristin Mitchell. She practiced in Wasilla for 2 years prior to moving back to the Kenai Peninsula. In her free time, she enjoys knitting, sewing, hiking, and spending time with her family.
