WORDS AND DEEDS

A request to provide PR to a national conservation charity, together with my skills in proofreading and copy-editing, led to my decision to offer my services in these areas to individuals and groups trying to communicate effectively with their target audience - be that academics writing journal articles, students writing up their research, business managers producing reports, charities providing literature about the work that they do, job applicants updating their CV, etc... In 2010, I decided to follow my desire to become a self-employed proofreader and writer. I had always incorporated my proofreading and copy-editing skills into my employed work, but felt that I wanted to turn this into a full-time role.
